This shirt is a faithful reproduction based on the open-collar shirts (camp shirts) that were widely available as store brands in the 1950s.
In reproducing it, we have faithfully recreated the designs of the time, including the use of different fabrics for the back yoke, and classic vintage details such as the open collar with a facing. We have also carefully followed the intricate construction unique to vintage items.
The pattern reproduced this time is an exact replica of the memorable printed flannel check that Representative Goto first wore during his apprenticeship, with the colors remaining the same.
It was a shirt that his boss mysteriously tore up, making it impossible to wear ever since.
This shirt revives that memory after approximately 30 years.
