Privacy Policy
JELADO Co., Ltd. (hereinafter "the Company") complies with its internal rules, which set out the appropriate collection, use and provision of personal information in light of the nature and scale of its business.
We take preventive measures against unauthorised access to personal information and against the loss, destruction, alteration and leakage of personal information, and will promptly implement corrective measures should any such incident occur.
We comply with laws and other norms relating to personal information.

[Purposes of use]
The Company specifies the purposes of use as far as possible and, except where the individual's prior consent has been obtained or where an exception is permitted under the Act on the Protection of Personal Information or other laws, uses personal information within the scope of the following purposes:
• To accept orders, communicate about orders, and dispatch goods
• To carry out work relating to returns, repairs and collection of goods
• To send newsletters, catalogues and other notices
• To respond to customer enquiries
• To analyse browsing and purchase history and other information obtained, in order to develop new products and services matched to interests and preferences, and to advertise new products and services
• To provide customer and purchase information to payment processing companies and credit card issuers for the purpose of preventing fraudulent use
Where it becomes necessary to use personal information for a purpose other than those above, we will obtain the individual's consent to that use, except where prior consent has been obtained or where an exception is permitted under the Act on the Protection of Personal Information or other laws.
The Company may outsource part of its operations and entrust personal information to the contractor to the extent necessary. In such cases, the information is managed appropriately in accordance with laws and the standards established by the Company.
[Provision to third parties]
The Company does not provide or disclose collected personal information to any third party, except where one of the following applies:
• The individual has consented
• It is necessary to protect a person's life, body or property and it is difficult to obtain the individual's consent
• Disclosure or provision is required under laws or regulations
[Disclosure, correction and suspension of use of registered information]
Insofar as it does not impede the proper conduct of our business, the Company will disclose personal information to the individual upon their request. In such cases we will verify identity by the method prescribed by the Company.
If personal information disclosed to an individual contains anything contrary to fact, the Company will correct it immediately. If an individual requests that use of their personal information be suspended, we will suspend its use immediately.

The Company exercises due care in managing personal information. However, owing to the nature of the internet and email, the confidentiality of personal information cannot be completely guaranteed. Please bear this in mind when using our website and email.

The Company may establish separate provisions on the handling of personal information — such as purposes of use, provision to third parties, security and contact points — for individual products and services, on the relevant site, in email or in other notices.
