The 2025 collection theme is "THE CREAM OF THE CACHE." This is a coined phrase meaning "the finest collection." Throughout this year, we have focused on reproducing the best and highest quality vintage items, carefully selected from JELADO's treasured collection.
For this collection, we have reissued the open-collar shirts that were widely available from store brands in the 1950s. In reissuing them, we faithfully reproduced the original designs, including the specification of using a different fabric for the back yoke and details such as the open collar with a facing. Furthermore, to retain the original texture, we adopted a 100% rayon ombre check fabric. In recent years, the value of vintage ombre checks has soared globally, with rare colors, in particular, trading at high prices approaching 100,000 yen. This reissued shirt is available in two such rare colors. To reproduce the atmosphere of the era, we used shell buttons and finished the design with a modern fit. This shirt is an item that merges 1950s style with contemporary sensibility, a must-have for vintage fashion lovers.
