The classic UNION WORKER SHIRTS S/S is now available in a new version made of WABASH stripe fabric. From the perspective of authentic workwear, we have incorporated the WABASH stripe into the classic design, making the pattern stand out and creating a more attractive shirt. The fabric is made of left-hand twill ground fabric woven with fine count yarn, and the WABASH stripe is expressed by discharge printing. The vintage atmosphere creates an authentic and tasteful finish. It may be surprising, but short-sleeved chambray shirts were rare in workwear from the 1940s to 1950s. Most of the originals from that time were cut from long-sleeved shirts, so this design is a particularly highly-regarded item. Based on the original short-sleeved chambray shirt, this shirt incorporates the sturdy specifications of workwear while maintaining an orthodox design. The collar is double-stitched, and the body is triple-stitched for a secure finish. Gussets are attached to both sides, and a union ticket is sewn to the back of the left front hem. Metal buttons are used, and flap pockets are placed on both chests. Red cotton thread is used for the bartacks, showing attention to detail.
