U.S.N 41 Service Shoes [JB94902]

These are truly universal leather shoes that can be coordinated with a wide range of styles, from chinos and denim to dressier outfits.
The basis of their development was a service shoe from what JELADO's Goto believes to be the 1940s. It features an early-model upper design with a slightly sharper toe than later models, six pairs of hidden eyelets, and a T-shaped backstay on the heel. We have reproduced this using kip glass leather with a smooth, beautiful luster and a brown core.
For the last, we replicated and used a 1941 Navy last that The 2 Monkeys' Suzuki had owned for some time. The sole is a leather sole, in keeping with service shoes of the era, and a non-slip rubber sheet has been applied to the ball of the foot for increased practicality. Including the printing on the heel lining and the embossing on the sole, we have reproduced the appearance of 1940s service shoes as faithfully as possible.Black leather service shoes, worn by US Navy non-commissioned officers with their uniforms, are simple yet beautiful, functional and streamlined, perhaps one of the most perfectly formed types of leather shoes.
