The United States, a country built by immigrants from Europe, saw various cultures and customs brought in from all over Europe by these immigrants.

Around 1880-1920, when popular theater and vaudeville were all the rage, there must have been many immigrants working as tailors in New York.

It's quite possible that some of them were creating their own unique arrangements of clothing from their home countries.

At that time, atelier coats (shop coats) in France were mostly made of linen.

They were worn for light work indoors, but perhaps a French tailor made one out of wool to serve as a winter overcoat.

Based on such an imagination, we designed this atelier coat style wool coat with a gently flowing A-line.
