Sportif "Horse Butt" Limited Edition [TM31619]

To commemorate JELADO's 20th anniversary and the relocation and grand opening of the JELADO Flagship Store, we are releasing a special direct-store-exclusive Sportif made from black horsebutt.

We use horsebutt from the Italian tannery, Maryam.
While it is tea-core leather, it differs from the leather used in JELADO the BOOTED Engineer Boots (Maryam horsebutt hillside-dyed in Japan to achieve a tea core). This leather was hillside-dyed in Italy.
A durable finish was applied during the hillside dyeing process, making this a premium leather among Maryam's horsebutt leathers. Due to the finish, it may take some time for the tea core to become visible.

In addition to this upper leather, there are other differences from our standard Sportif models.

• Olive-toned stitching on the upper (other Sportif models use brown tones)

• Shinki Hikaku's oak brown horsehide on the tongue (the same as on the Vaudeville Oak Brown)

• Off-white horsehide (horse front) lining (other Sportif models use cowhide)

• Oak bark sole leather
