This is the SPORTIF-2. Like the classic "Sportif", it is a surprisingly lightweight boot with a classic style and a tapered waist, combining two manufacturing methods, Goodyear Welt and Mackay.

This season's model "Rio Negro" is

The vamp and counter pocket are embossed with kip glass leather, the waist leather is dyed with oil and wax and snuffed grain leather (leather with a lightly rubbed grain surface), and the sole, eyelets, and shoelaces are all black. These boots have an exotic feel despite being all black. Their rich look goes well with casual styles such as denim and chinos, allowing for a slightly different look from the standard "Sportif".

The Rio Negro is a river that flows from Colombia along the border with Venezuela and joins the Amazon River in Brazil, and most of its basin is the Amazon rainforest. The river's water is black due to organic matter derived from plant tannins dissolved in the water, which is why it was given the name Rio Negro, which means "black river" in Spanish and Portuguese.
