Corsica, a French island also known as Napoleon's birthplace, is a beautiful island in the Mediterranean Sea.

It is located closer to Italy than France, about 180 km southeast of Nice and about 120 km southwest of Florence.

The history of conflict between the indigenous islanders and the ruling class from the central government is similar to that of Sicily, an Italian island located 700 km south of Corsica.

It seems that there were nationalist forces in Corsica, similar to the Sicilian Mafia (or its predecessor), who lived hidden in the mountainous regions of the island and were feared as bandits.

Old postcards of Corsica, which is also a tourist destination, apparently featured several "bandits" as their motif.

The Montagnard Poncho was designed with inspiration from the capes worn by the bandits in those postcards.

Made of light and warm wool melton. While it has a unique antique feel, it is a functional design that can be worn over a jacket at any time and also has sleeves.
