The 2 Monkeys French Work Blouse (French Work Blouse) [TM01444]

This French work blouse, originally made last spring, has been remade from a slightly thinner linen material so that it can be worn comfortably right through to early summer.
This work blouse is seen in an old photo, probably taken in France in the late 19th century (1850-1900, the Victorian period in the UK). It may have influenced or been influenced by the very early development of the denim jacket. It is an interesting jacket that is likely related to the denim jacket, one of the must-have items for American casual wear.
