The 2 Monkeys Doggerland Pants [TM13355]

In photographs taken in the first half of the 20th century in coastal areas of the North Sea and the Dover Strait, such as the Netherlands, Belgium, and northern France, fishermen and laborers wearing extremely wide pants, like those shown in the image on the right, are often seen. The Doggerland Pants by The 2 Monkeys were designed with these pants as their inspiration. These are short, balloon-style pants with a relaxed three-tuck waist, extremely wide thighs, and a wide silhouette that tapers sharply at the hem. The thick waistband features suspender buttons, and thin belt loops are offset from the top line, allowing the top line of the waist to remain visible even when wearing a belt, creating a classic look. This season, they are available in two colors, smoke black and sepia (a deep reddish-brown), made from thick moleskin with a suppressed brushed finish.
