The 2 Monkeys Belle Époque Atelier Coat [TM72426]

This is a coverall inspired by the workwear of the Belle Époque, when French civilization and culture flourished from the late 19th to early 20th century. An atelier is what you'd call a workshop in English, meaning a place of craftsmanship, such as a studio or a small factory. Therefore, an atelier coat is also a shop coat, but we've made it a short-length coverall that can be easily worn in spring and summer.

The puckering along the seams caused by fabric shrinkage during post-dyeing creates a unique atmosphere, especially the puckering on the collar's inner stitching, which gives the collar a soft look. It features a unique design with a patch pocket on the chest and seam pockets on the sides. Compared to the relaxed silhouette of the pullovers and pants in the same Belle Époque series, the body has a more moderate amount of room. The design prioritizes ease of movement.
The fabric is a high-density, irregularly woven herringbone, recreating antique fabric with linen in the warp and cotton in the weft. It has a unique, rough texture.
