Steelbeam Coat [AG21417]

Following the blueprint of an ultra-rare pre-1920s Sweet-Orr asymmetrical pocket chore coat from our personal long-term archives, we have expanded our LAST RESORT Ao-Tag (Blue Tag) lineage to introduce a striking Vanilla colorway. Mirroring our indigo configuration, we wove this textile using three distinct thread weights in the warp, varying the expression of the vertical yarns to beautifully recreate the raw, unrefined texture characteristic of original turn-of-the-century labor wear. Even within a solid monochromatic canvas, this process yields a highly nuanced, tactile surface depth defined by a rich slub texture.

The hardware is equally uncompromising, featuring proprietary iron change buttons across the main front closure and period-accurate donut-shaped tack buttons on the cuffs.

Compared to our previous iterations, we increased the overall fabric allowance to achieve a slightly more relaxed, easy-wearing fit. This updated silhouette prioritizes the authentic drape of classic labor wear, pairing beautifully with the rugged character of the textile for the ultimate vintage vibe.
