Souvenir Jacket [JP21418]

The theme of our 2026 collection is "SHIBU-KAJI." This collection is based on the "Shibu-Kaji" style that was popular in Tokyo's Shibuya district from the late 1980s to the 1990s, with a modern twist. While evoking a sense of nostalgia from one's youth, we are developing timeless products that can be cherished for a long time. We have reissued a special souvenir jacket, featured in My Freedoms and held in our archives for many years, using the same special manufacturing method as back then. The material used is a beautiful, smooth-faced weather fabric woven from a blend of cotton and polyester yarns. Similar to our sukajan jackets, it is luxuriously adorned with freehand embroidery by skilled artisans. Reproducing a jacket custom-ordered by a US Navy soldier stationed in Japan in the 1960s, elaborate embroidery is placed not only on the back but also on the sleeves and front. The rayon thread used for the embroidery will fade and lose its luster with wear, allowing you to enjoy a deep, aged appearance over time. It pairs perfectly with denim and chinos, as well as with leather pants for a "Shibu-Kaji" style.
