The 2025 collection theme, "THE CREAM OF THE CACHE," is a coined phrase meaning "the best of the best collection," and it's a project to recreate the finest vintage items carefully selected from JELADO's secret collection over a year.Among these, the SALEM COAT, being released for the first time in six years, is particularly noteworthy. This time, to revive the same pattern with multiple colors as before, a super vintage blanket fabric was specially recreated.For the material, a double-brushed jacquard blanket made of 92% wool and 8% nylon was adopted, faithfully reproducing a super rare blanket fabric from around the 1920s. Especially the black-based color scheme is a precious design that is almost impossible to find in the vintage market.As for the fabric characteristics,the warp yarn uses 40-count two-ply yarn made from 100% Australian Merino wool. Although raw material is usually spun to 2/48, it is intentionally spun to 2/40 to maximize the quality of the yarn while being a thick count. This specification is called "Level Up Wool."For the weft yarn,5-count single yarn blended with Australian Merino wool, with a composition of 90% wool and 10% nylon, is used. By blending multiple carefully selected wool raw materials,we have achieved a yarn quality similar to British wool, which has firmness and resilience. The nylon blend ensures both strength and softness of the fabric.
