The theme of the 2026 collection is "SHIBU-KAJI." Based on the Shibuya-kaji style that was popular in Shibuya, Tokyo from the late 1980s to the 1990s, the collection adds a touch of modernity. The collection features timeless, long-lasting products that evoke a nostalgic feeling of youth. For the first time in seven years, the collection features a new color scheme based on atomic print crepe fabric, resulting in the VINCENT SHIRTS, featuring Italian colors. The fabric is made of rayon crepe, meticulously woven in Fukui City, Fukui Prefecture. The warp yarn is made of 120d filament rayon, achieving a silk-like luster, beautiful drape, and vibrant color. The weft yarn is made of 30/- spun rayon, adding a soft texture and matte finish. Furthermore, alternating S-twist and Z-twist strong yarns create a fine grained texture, resulting in a luxurious finish with a moderately subdued sheen. The print is made using an advanced processing method that involves dyeing the base fabric and then applying pigment discharge printing. The fabric is dyed first, and then the pattern is discharged and the pigment print is layered on top, resulting in faded and uneven textures that give the garment a unique vintage feel. The dye is firmly applied to the back, giving it a luxurious look. However, this pigment discharge printing method requires a large amount of chemicals and wastewater treatment, making it a rare technique that can only be produced in a limited number of factories in Japan.
