The 2026 collection theme is "SHIBU-KAJI." This collection takes its inspiration from Shibukaji, a fashion trend that was popular in Tokyo's Shibuya district from the late 1980s to the 1990s, adding a modern twist. It offers products that evoke a nostalgic feeling for one's youth, yet are universal and can be cherished for a long time. For this collection, after seven years, we have refreshed the color scheme of our atomic print chirimen fabric and created it as a VINCENT SHIRT featuring an Italian collar. The fabric used is rayon chirimen, carefully woven in Fukui City, Fukui Prefecture. The warp uses 120d filament rayon, achieving a silk-like luster, beautiful drape, and vivid color. The weft uses 30/- spun rayon, adding a soft texture and matte finish. Furthermore, by alternately weaving strong twisted yarns of S-twist and Z-twist, we created a fine crimped texture, resulting in a luxurious appearance with a moderately suppressed luster. For the print, we adopted an advanced processing method that applies pigment discharge printing after pre-dyeing the fabric. By first dyeing the fabric and then discharging the pattern areas and layering pigment prints, a blurred and uneven effect is created, allowing you to enjoy a unique vintage-like texture. Since the back side is also thoroughly dyed, it has a luxurious appearance. However, this pigment discharge printing is a rare technique that uses a large amount of chemicals and requires wastewater treatment, so only a limited number of factories in Japan can produce it. This meticulously crafted piece, made from a special fabric, is an item that elevates the Shibukaji style.
