This model is named after Red Wing founder Charles Beckman.
This shoe follows the classic details of Red Wing from the early 1900s and will go well with a variety of fashion styles.

Originally, in Red Wing catalogs from the 1920s, illustrations of shoes indicated whether or not they had a toe cap.
There used to be many models of boots without toes, such as capped toes and round toes, but as time went on, this model became less common around the 1960s.

Toeless models, which were common in good old American shoes, have a toe cap, so the leather conforms to the foot all the way to the toes and the sole curves all the way to the toes, making the shoes comfortable to wear.
However, after the 1960s, the idea that toe caps were the norm spread, and in the case of work boots in particular, where foot protection is a priority, the toe caps came to be inserted almost entirely by hand, and the "flat box" gradually disappeared.

The leather used is black clone dyke leather with a brown core.

The sole uses a half-rubber Grocord sole with strong grip.
The shoe laces are made of waxed string.
