This A-2 jacket is based on the A-2 from Rough Wear Clothing Co., a contractor in the 1940s, but with a more stylish silhouette. This model is based on the late 1941 delivery model and uses vegetable-tanned aniline-finished horsehide. The material is 1.2mm to 1.3mm thick horsehide. To reproduce the brown color that existed in real vintage items, a yellow dye is applied to the base, and then colored brown on top, resulting in a brown color similar to vintage. The leather has a unique firmness and suppleness characteristic of Rainbow Country leather, along with a moderate sheen. As you wear it, not only will wrinkles appear on the arms, but also fine graining, allowing you to enjoy both changes in color and changes in the leather's surface. The distinctive high collar and collar tip stitching of Rough Wear Clothing Co. are also reproduced. Size tickets attached to the side of the left pocket flap lining are also reproduced.
