This A-2 jacket is based on the A-2 from Rough Wear Clothing Co., a contractor in the 1940s, and is finished in a more stylish form.
This time, it is based on the late 1941 delivery model and uses horsehide with a vegetable tanning aniline finish.
The material is horsehide with a thickness of 1.2mm to 1.3mm.
In order to reproduce the dark brown color that existed in actual products at the time, a purple dye is applied to the base, and then colored with a dark brown over it, creating a vintage-like dark seal brown finish.
The leather has a unique firmness and suppleness, as well as an appropriate luster, characteristic of Rainbow Country leather.
As you wear it, not only will wrinkles appear on the arms, but also fine grain, allowing you to enjoy both changes in color and changes in the leather surface.
