This time, we produced this beautifully silhouetted stand-collar rider's jacket using custom-ordered, undyed (vegetable-tanned) horsehide.
The material is horsehide with a thickness of 1.2mm to 1.3mm.
As undyed leather is close to its raw hide thickness and has no color, it originally tends to show scars easily. However, we meticulously cut out and sew around scarred areas, resulting in horsehide with minimal imperfections and a high-quality leather texture.
With wear, the leather's color will change, gradually developing a caramel hue and a lustrous sheen.
Enjoy the unique aging process characteristic of undyed leather.
The lining is a custom-ordered 100% rayon fabric, providing excellent warmth and comfort!
The front zipper is an original "CAL-MFG" auto-lock zipper from Rainbow Country, created from a custom mold.
It's an original zipper made with a press, replicating vintage specifications.
The ball chain also features an original "CAL-MFG" logo zipper.
This attractive piece is a 50's style single rider's jacket, finished with slender arms and a tight silhouette.
While enjoying the quality of "Made in Japan," you can also appreciate the excellent texture that develops as the leather ages.
Undyed leather undergoes a more dramatic color change than typical black or brown leather.
The caramel color it acquires after wear creates a truly unique "work of art" through aging. Therefore, this rider's jacket is highly recommended for those who love leather aging and wearing leather over time.

*Due to the nature of undyed leather, please be careful as it is prone to water stains if exposed to rain. For stains, apply leather oil to the leather and maintain it evenly to make them less noticeable. Also, please note that when oiling with leather oil, previously unseen raw hide scars on the surface of the undyed leather may become visible.
