This collection is based on Shibuya Casual (Shibu-Kaji), a fashion trend that was popular in Tokyo, especially in Shibuya, from the late 1980s to the 1990s, with contemporary essences added. We offer timeless products that evoke nostalgia for youth and can be cherished for a long time.
This season, we have created an item inspired by biker print T-shirts from the 90s.
A gorilla character with an outlaw vibe is depicted as a biker motif in the Shibu-Kaji style. The word "PIMP," which serves as an accent in the design, has slang meanings such as "a man who takes women out," "a nouveau riche," and "cool and stylish," adding a playful touch that connects to hip-hop culture.
This is a fictional character called "PIMP KONG" rather than "KING KONG." The print has undergone a cracking process during the plate-making stage to give it a vintage-like texture that suggests natural aging. The body is made of mid-weight 14/- open-end jersey knit, and as you wear it, the print will fade, developing a unique character.
