This collection is based on "Shibu-Kaji" fashion, which was popular mainly in Shibuya, Tokyo, from the late 1980s to the 1990s, with a modern twist.
We offer products that evoke nostalgia from one's youth while being timeless and durable for long-term use. One of the highlights of this collection is based on the M-44 Monkey Pants of the USMC (United States Marine Corps), which are currently experiencing a surge in market value. The M-44 Monkey Pants were developed in 1944, towards the end of World War II, and are attractive for their unique design and functionality. Also known as "Monkey Pants," their production period was very short, from July 1944 to around October 1945, and they were issued to a small elite unit of the U.S. Marine Corps, resulting in low overall production and making them very rare and valuable pants. These pants were designed for field use, with an emphasis on ease of movement during crawling and leaning forward.
A particularly distinctive feature is the large pocket at the back, designed to store rations and grenades. The material used this time is our original LASTRESORT denim with a blue tag. In addition to the "lightness" and "comfort" characteristic of light-ounce denim, three different thicknesses of warp threads are used, so irregular vertical fading will appear as the denim ages with wear. Furthermore, iron buttons are used, and their legs are domed to enhance the vintage feel.
