The collection is based on "Shibu-Kaji" (Shibuya Casual), a style that was popular mainly in Shibuya, Tokyo, from the late 1980s to the 1990s, with contemporary essences added. While evoking a nostalgic atmosphere reminiscent of youthful days, it proposes universal products that can be used and enjoyed for a long time.
This item is designed based on a print shirt that was distributed at college and military football games around the 1950s. By reflecting the authentic atmosphere of that era and adding JELADO's unique interpretation, it achieves a finish that combines vintage feel with modern wearability. The fabric used is an original print fabric specially ordered for this item. By alternately weaving nep yarn and straight yarn in the warp, the tendency for excessive napping is moderately suppressed, achieving an exquisite balance in its texture. Furthermore, after the base fabric is piece-dyed, a discharge printing method using pigment is employed for the print. Currently, there are very few domestic factories that handle this discharge printing, resulting in a special finish using a highly rare technique. As it is worn, the print will rub and change color, and its vintage texture will become even more prominent with age. This item makes a statement on its own, and by incorporating it into your styling, you can naturally express a sense of the era and the Shibu-Kaji mood.
