The theme of the 2026 collection is "SHIBU-KAJI."
This collection is based on the "Shibuya Casual" style that was popular in Shibuya, Tokyo from the late 1980s to the 1990s, and adds a modern twist.
We offer timeless products that evoke the nostalgia of youth and can be used for a long time.
To reaffirm the quality of Japanese-made products, we have created a button-down shirt with meticulous attention to materials and stitching. This shirt is named "MADISON," after the street where the flagship store of the traditional brand that created the BD shirt is located.
The fabric used is a chambray carefully woven on a shuttle loom using cheese-dyed indigo yarn, based on analysis of deadstock work shirts from the 1930s. The firm texture enhances the neat, button-down look when pressed.
The buttons are made of luxurious shell buttons. The gusset, narrow arms, and compact, short silhouette create a vintage-like atmosphere. It also fits beautifully under a jacket, and the stand-up collar blends naturally with the jacket's silhouette. Furthermore, the six-button front faithfully reproduces the details of button-down shirts from the 1950s. Combining classic and modern styles, this is truly a piece worthy of being called the "standard Japanese-made."
