Kona Bay Hawaii Duke Border【BK-RA2404】

The material is made in Japan, using 100% rayon Fujiet fabric, and the sewing is done in Hawaii, making this an authentic Made in Hawaii aloha shirt.
Fujiet is a plain weave fabric made with filament rayon warp and spun rayon weft.
Compared to regular rayon, this fabric is thicker and has a unique drape.
The print is discharge printing.
The buttons are oyster shell buttons.
The pockets are also patterned to match, giving it a vintage feel.

Made by Duke Kahanamoku in the early 1950s.
This design was the first vintage shirt owner KC ever owned.
He bought the original in 1992 at a shop on Haight Street in San Francisco.
This was also the first design reproduced when Kona Bay Hawaii was launched.
23 years later, it was reissued again with a new color scheme.
