KONABAY HAWAII aloha shirt

"Big Wednesday Hibiscus".


This is an authentic Made in Hawaii aloha shirt, made with 100% rayon fujiette fabric from Japan, and sewn in Hawaii.
It uses a plain weave fabric with filament rayon yarn for the warp and spun rayon yarn for the weft.This fujiette-like fabric has a unique drape.
Discharge printing is applied to this fabric, and thebuttons are made of oyster shell.

The "Big Wednesday Hibiscus" pattern on this shirt is the aloha shirt that William Katt wore in

"Big Wednesday."

After searching through more than five Vintage Aloha books and not finding it,

I had wanted this aloha shirt for over 30 years,

and finally managed to acquire and reproduce it.

This aloha shirt features a pattern that evokes Hawaii, making it an easy-to-wear piece for both men and women.
