This flannel shirt is made from a custom fabric woven on an old power loom.
We focused on creating a used look, giving the surface of the fabric a dry, "oil-removed" feel, while the back has the appearance of worn-in, slightly matted nap.
While retaining the charm of good old America, we've adjusted the design for contemporary wearers by making the arms slightly narrower, the body tighter, and the length slightly shorter than traditional flannel shirts.
The difference from the other short-length flannel shirt becomes clear when worn in your exact size; compared to the short-length version, the shoulder width is narrower.
And since the length is also a bit longer, it creates a silhouette closer to a work shirt.
However, the length is shorter than a typical work shirt, making it a versatile item perfect for styling with coveralls, down jackets, or down vests.
When worn in your exact size, this flannel shirt will remind you of the comfort, great silhouette, and warmth that flannel shirts offer.
The stitching primarily uses cotton thread, but some spun thread is used in parts due to the strong distressed finish and our desire for the shirt to be worn for a long time.
We used fine stitch widths to further enhance the used look.
