JELADO Yellowstone Vest【AG82530】

YERROWSTONE has released a blanket vest made from an original woven blanket fabric. It is named after the place where the Crow tribe lived and guided.

We use the only jacquard loom in Bishu, and use 2/48 worsted warp threads, with 1/10 weft threads coming out. By deliberately using fine worsted warp threads, the colored threads woven in the worsted weft threads can be seen on the surface, expressing the profound atmosphere of a Native American blanket. We repeatedly checked the beakers for the thread colors and tested color combinations to match the atmosphere of the pattern at the time, and it took us two years to put together the pattern. In order to bring out the pattern and texture of the weft thread, we consulted with a finishing factory and lightly milled it (lightly brushed) before pressing it down again.

For blankets with a small number of colors, such as two colors, it is possible to create a thicker look by weaving both the warp and weft, but on the other hand, it is a fabric that requires a lot of work to create a blanket with many colors and complex patterns. By using the fabric horizontally, the way the pattern is displayed changes.

This special blanket is used to make a work vest based on a work vest from the 40s.
The collar makes it easy to wear and elegant. The edges of the pockets are piped to add a more lively look. This piece can be coordinated with shirts and cut-and-sew tops to add an accent.
