The theme for 2024 is "SPROUT." It is based on the name of the vintage shop that CEO Goto opened 20 years ago, and features items purchased at the time.We will be recreating and developing vintage items and popular products.As part of this project, we have reproduced a wool sports jacket from the 30s that we own, starting from the fabric, and have reproduced it.In order to achieve this, we dyed the yarn in a faded navy color and created the fabric. We also used 7-count Merino and tweed-type stiff yarn.The raw wool is mixed and spun to create a rough texture and hardness, which is then woven into fabric. In addition, the fabric is shrunk to give it a resilient feel.This emphasizes the hardness.Brown horsehide is used for the elbow pads, cuffs, and pocket openings to enhance the atmosphere.Although the material is different, the lining has been added for ease of wear and improved functionality.This wool sports jacket pairs perfectly with denim or chinos, and can also be worn tucked in and suspended by suspenders.It's me.
