JELADO Wooster Sports Jacket [AG03409]

The theme for 2024 is "SPROUT." Taking its name from the vintage shop our representative, Goto, started 20 years ago, we will reproduce and develop VINTAGE items and popular products that were bought back then.As part of this, we have reproduced our company's 1930s wool sports jacket from scratch. To recreate the original color, we dyed the yarn a faded navy to produce the fabric. We also spun a blend of thick Merino wool (7-gauge) and stiff tweed-type raw wool to create a rough and firm woolen yarn, which was then woven into the fabric. Furthermore, fulling was applied to the fabric to give it resilience and emphasize its stiffness.Elbow patches, cuffs, and pocket openings are switched with brown-core horsehide, enhancing the overall aesthetic. Although different from the original item, a lining has been added for ease of wear, improving functionality.This wool sports jacket pairs exceptionally well with denim and chinos, and we also recommend wearing it tucked in and suspended with suspenders.
