WESTCOASTSHIRTS are named after the "California Made" tags found on 1950s shirts.
The design is based on the box silhouette, which was common in 1950s shirts.
The fabric used is 100% cotton indigo gauze.
It's soft and fluffy, with excellent breathability and a pleasant feel, making it incredibly comfortable to wear!
It can be washed with water and dries quickly, so it's a fabric that you can wear frequently and enjoy as it ages.
While retaining the 1950s vibe, JELADO has expressed a 1950s shirt with a clean silhouette and a design with rolled-up cuffs.
By making the arms slimmer, we've created a shirt that avoids the bulky look typical of box silhouettes. It's more casual than rayon shirts and can be washed, so we encourage you to try this highly designed open-collar shirt this summer.
This time, we titled it NOVEL CUSTOM and expressed famous quotes and imagery from Hemingway's "The Old Man and the Sea" using stencils.
The left chest features the novel's compass, and the back has a giant marlin and the old man's words.
The words represent the old man, who is scorned by those around him, losing his strength, money, and everyone, yet still fights forward, and these words are stenciled onto the shirt.
