The name "Westcoast Shirt" comes from the fact that shirts from the 1950s had a "Made in California" tag attached to them.
The pockets are simple patch pockets with no flaps, making the most of the printed fabric.
A cotton/linen blend of 45% cotton and 55% linen.

It is made from a thin plain weave sheeting material, making it light to wear.
The print pattern is also reminiscent of the 50s prints found on curtain fabrics of the time.
It expresses the style of a typical 50s shirt, with a collar stitched in the middle, a boxy silhouette and an open collar.
It has a streamlined silhouette while still maintaining the atmosphere of the 50's, and the arms look slimmer and sharper when worn.
The top button is a loop fastener and the buttons are shell buttons.
