We've launched our popular 50s-style open-collar WESTCOAST SHIRTS.

Imagining a washable open-collar shirt, we made it using 100% cotton kasuri-patterned fabric. In those days, such designs were made of 100% rayon, but now 50s vintage items are rapidly increasing in value, trading at high prices around 50,000 yen.

The fabric is produced in Nishiwaki City, Hyogo Prefecture, and incorporates vintage slacks. The ground weave is chino, combined with a ripstop pattern. The ripstop sections feature slubs called stardust (costume thread), and the fabric is woven using colored threads.

Since it's a sturdy 100% cotton fabric that can be used for pants, it's a shirt that you can wear hard and wash frequently. It's a highly recommended piece due to its excellent compatibility with denim and chinos.
