JELADO Westcoast Shirt [SG01104]

The theme for Spring/Summer 2024 is "SPROUT." This season's concept is to revive vintage items from the past, which have been collected through sourcing and collections over the last 20 years.
We have revived the open-collar shirt, which was widely produced by store brands in the 1950s. For this revival, we replicated the original designs, including details like using a different fabric for the back yoke and a facing design for the open collar. However, as a new approach, we opted for 100% cotton unbleached chambray fabric instead of the rayon material used back then. This allows for easy washing and long-term wear.
The unbleached fabric incorporates a texture with slight cotton flecks remaining, allowing you to enjoy a unique vintage feel. Additionally, shell buttons were used to further enhance the overall aesthetic.
This shirt combines the style of a bygone era with modern functionality, making it an interesting choice for vintage fashion enthusiasts.
