JELADO Westcoast Shirt Sashiko [SG72107]

Introducing the Westcoast shirt from the JELADO BASIC COLLECTION.
This popular open-collar shirt is made from a specially crafted indigo sashiko fabric.
For the ground fabric, both warp and weft yarns are 20/-count, and the warp stripe sashiko portions use 10/2-count yarn, creating a fabric with a textured surface.
The dyeing and printing are consistently done at a factory in Fukuyama City, Hiroshima Prefecture. After indigo dyeing, a 50s-style geometric pattern is applied using pigment discharge printing with a rotary (roll screen type).
Pigment discharge printing involves discharging the indigo dye while simultaneously applying beige pigment.

This allows for the reproduction of clear colors without being affected by the base color.
The color will fade with wear, allowing you to enjoy the aging process.
