JELADO Warm-up Shorts [AB02310]

The 2024 COLLECTION theme is "SPROUT."
This theme adopts the name of the vintage shop that our representative, Goto, started 20 years ago. It will be a collection that revives items from that time, looking back at what was collected then.
With the cooperation of Riding High, we have released the WARM UP SHORTS. These are our first sweat shorts, knitted with 100% US cotton-blend open-end yarn. The face yarn is 14/- (open-end yarn), the middle yarn is 20/- (right-twisted), and the back yarn is 10/-. The knitting machine parts were modified to increase the volume of the back yarn.
Regarding the knitting machine gauge, we prioritized the reproducibility of the face and, after discussions with knitters, knitted it with the original 12G, using needles developed in-house. We also focused on the napping process, applying napping with a US-style napping machine to reproduce the vintage-like look of brushed fleece. To replicate the dry, crisp feel of the fabric, the fabric is degreased after knitting.
We focused on reproducing the fabric texture, achieving a very high quality with the stiffness of vintage fabric and the appearance of the face stitches. The shorts are sewn with twin needles, just like vintage items. To reduce vertical shrinkage, similar to tops, the fabric, which is normally used vertically, is used horizontally, and ribs are used on the sides to improve ease of movement and enhance functionality.
For the color, we reproduced rare colors that were highly regarded in the 90s. This item is designed to be easier to wear, with a vintage clothing atmosphere reproduced to a high degree in both material and sewing, so please give it a try.
