The theme of the 2024 collection is "SPROUT." This theme is based on the name of the vintage shop that our CEO Goto started 20 years ago. The collection will look back on the items he collected back then and reissue them. With the cooperation of Riding High, we have released the WARM UP SHORTS. This is our first sweat shorts, knitted with 100% cotton American cotton blend air-spun yarn. The face yarn is 14/- (air-spun yarn), the middle yarn is 20/- (right-leaning), and the back yarn is 10/-. We have modified the knitting machine parts to give the back yarn volume. We focused on reproducing the surface of the knitting machine gauge, so we discussed with the knitter and knitted it with an original 12G, and used needles that we developed ourselves. We also paid particular attention to how the fabric was brushed, and by using an American-style brushing machine, we were able to reproduce the same brushed fleece look as the vintage ones. In order to reproduce the feel of a dry fabric, the fabric is degreased after it is knitted. We focused on reproducing the texture of the fabric, and have created a very high quality finish with the same stiffness of the vintage fabric and the texture of the knit on the front. The shorts are sewn with two needles like the vintage ones, and to reduce shrinkage in the vertical direction like the tops, the fabric that is normally used vertically is used horizontally, and the sides are ribbed to improve ease of movement and functionality. The colors are a reproduction of rare colors that were highly praised in the 90s. The high-level reproduction of the materials and stitching gives this pair of jeans a vintage wear-like feel, making them even easier to wear, so please give them a try.
