ATHLETIC BRAND has released the W FACE US, NAVY TRAINING TEE.

We asked RIDING-HIGH, a brand that specializes in cut and sew items and sweatshirts, to produce the item, and we were able to use their original materials to create this special T-shirt.

Both the front and back materials are made from recycled cotton.

The cotton waste from the yarn making process is used to create a material with a natural look. The heathered yarn side on the front side is left as is with a round body with no seams, allowing us to make a reversible T-shirt that has been a staple of athletic wear in the US since the 50s.

The sewing specifications are faithful to the original design, and the sleeves and hems are sewn using a special method that ensures that the stitching is not visible. With repeated washing, the fabric becomes distorted, and the back fabric peeks out from the sleeves and hems, revealing a glimpse of the color, adding an accent to your outfit.

This print was inspired by US Navy training jerseys.
The idea came from hearing that Americans actually turn their training suits over when they get sweaty.

I chose the colors I wanted to wear on both sides and created this color scheme.
