The fabric used is 100% cotton, analyzed and reproduced based on vintage pieces owned by our company.
Both warp and weft yarns are primarily 40/1 cotton, and by weaving an additional nep-effect polyester yarn into the weft on a dobby loom, the fabric achieves a textured, bumpy feel.
It's characterized by a mix of plain and twill weaves, creating a varied appearance.
The fabric has an excellent vintage texture, is soft, and is suitable for wearing even in mid-summer.
The base design is inspired by a 50s "SIRGUY" shirt, featuring an Italian collar and a single pocket, popular among 50s enthusiasts.
"SIRGUY" shirts pair well with denim, and every detail, from the rolled-up sleeves to the single chest pocket and buttons, exudes a rebellious charm.
The refined, mature, yet rebellious "SIRGUY" style is captivating.
The Italian collar was a popular choice among many artists of the era, such as Elvis Presley and Gene Vincent, and there are many photos of them wearing Italian collar shirts with the collar peeking out from under a jacket.
