JELADO S/S Vincent Shirt [SG82102]

We have tailored the VINCENT SHIRTS using special print rayon print fabric scheduled for release this spring.
We have reproduced a rare 1950s stained-glass pattern print fabric and produced it with different color schemes.

While the appreciation and price of 1950s rayon print shirts are incredibly high, there's no sign of them declining.

Among these, we have created a fabric with a rather unusual pattern in a rare color scheme.
The base material is rayon twill woven in a factory in Izumisano, Osaka, and then moved to a factory in Shiga Prefecture for scouring.

It is produced with 30/- warp x 30/- weft and a density of 120×74 threads.
The fabric is then piece-dyed at a factory in Kyoto and moved to a printing factory for discharge printing.

The printing method is called ground-dyed pigment discharge, which involves applying pigment colors to the pattern while discharging the ground color from the pattern area after piece-dyeing.

Since it is piece-dyed, the color penetrates to the back, giving it a luxurious feel.
Factories capable of pigment discharge printing on 145cm wide rayon fabric are becoming scarce in Japan, making this a highly valuable fabric.

The VINCENT SHIRTS are characterized by an Italian collar, favored by Elvis Presley, the king of rock and roll in the 1950s. This shape was recreated by inspired by the SIRGUY brand, which offered various materials at the time.

The simple design with double-welt chest pockets and an Italian collar makes the printed fabric stand out beautifully.
