JELADO S/S Vincent Shirt【SG82102】

The VINCENT SHIRTS are made using rayon printed fabric with a special print that is scheduled to be released this spring.
This item is a reproduction of a rare stained glass print fabric from the 50s, with a different color scheme.

The value and prices of rayon print shirts from the 50s have gone up by a lot, and there are no signs of their value dropping.

Among them, we created a fabric with a rather unusual pattern and an unusual color combination.
The rayon twill used for the ground material is woven at a factory in Senshu, Osaka, and then transported to a factory in Shiga Prefecture for processing.

It is produced with warp threads 30/- x weft threads 30/- and a thread count of 120 x 74 threads.
The fabric is dyed on a roll at a factory in Kyoto, then moved to a printing factory where it is finished with discharge printing.

The printing method is called ground dye pigment discharge printing, in which the base color of the pattern area is removed after dyeing the original fabric, while the pigment color is applied to the pattern area.

Since the fabric is dyed, the color penetrates all the way to the lining, giving it a luxurious feel.
There are only a few factories in Japan that can pigment discharge print 145cm wide rayon fabric, making this an extremely rare and valuable fabric.

VINCENT SHIRTS is a shirt featuring an Italian collar that was favored by the King of Rock and Roll of the 50s, Elvis Presley, and we have reproduced this style based on the motif of the SIRGUY brand, which was available in a variety of materials at the time.

The pockets are simple, with double-welted chest pockets and an Italian collar, so the printed fabric really stands out.
