Following on from the previous release, the VICHY, released with a different fabric, is a pair of trousers based on European military wear. They are modeled after the French M47 cargo pants, considered a masterpiece among military and cargo pants. We have faithfully reproduced the details of the early model of these pants, which were adopted in 1947 and used until the 1960s. We changed the two hidden front top buttons, a detail of the early model, to exposed buttons for greater ease of use. The material is military twill printed with the Belgian Army Denison camouflage pattern. We have reproduced key elements such as the elaborate pocket construction, which is quite detailed for military wear that usually pursues simplification for mass production. While maintaining a size fit close to vintage, the shorter length allows for a stylish look.
