JELADO Venice Jacquard Sweat [BL82833]

VENICE has been released from BLUE LABEL.

In collaboration with knitwear specialist GYM, we designed a 1940s summer knit set-up.

We have created a 12G jacquard knit using BCI (THE BETTER COTTON INITIATIVE) cotton. BCI refers to initiatives that consider the environment by reducing water and pesticide use, improving soil, and considering the working conditions of farmers and cotton production workers. Cotton farmers who meet these standards are certified as Better Cotton producers.

A key feature is that it has less fluff compared to regular cotton, resulting in a cleaner surface and increased luster. The raw cotton used is the highest grade among Indian long-staple cotton, characterized by its fine fibers and soft texture.

The knitting process uses a double jacquard technique to express the pattern of a rare 1950s printed shirt, preventing the threads on the back from snagging, making it comfortable to wear, and the use of more yarn results in a substantial finish.

The fit is not an extreme oversized one, but a moderately relaxed fit that is easy to wear, making it a versatile piece.
