JELADO Smoker Shirt Indigo check【JP71133】

This time, we use a jacquard check fabric made from 100% cotton indigo-dyed yarn.
It's a thick, soft, and pleasant-to-the-touch fabric.
The shirt is based on the "BIG YANK" uneven pocket shirts from the 1930s.
The small pocket on the left chest recreates the unique bag stitching found in vintage pieces, making it a detail that truly appeals to vintage enthusiasts.
The stitching also features triple stitching on the shoulders and arms, ensuring a durable construction.
Furthermore, the pockets and collar feature the same double stitching as back then, adding to the vintage atmosphere.
The buttons are hexagonal metal buttons, commonly used in old work shirts.
The gusset is a selvedge run-off chain stitch.
Since the original "BIG YANK" from that era had both selvedge gussets and bag-stitched gussets, we chose the selvedge gusset type to preserve the atmosphere of the time. We use white cotton thread for the topstitch and orange cotton thread for the bobbin stitch.
When cotton thread is used, washing and tumble drying will cause the thread to shrink more, resulting in stronger fading on the shoulders and arms.
The fit is designed to be sleek and neat, with arms that are not too wide.
