This year, our classic flannel shirts are back, available in four colors: Grain Mustard, Latte, Avocado, and Apollo. These are short-length flannel shirts made from a custom fabric woven on old power looms, featuring selvage gussets.
JELADO flannel shirts prioritize a well-worn feel, with a dry, almost oil-removed texture on the surface, and a slightly suppressed nap on the inside, mimicking the look of a well-worn garment. We use a time-consuming manufacturing process where thick yarns are tightly woven into both the warp and weft, and then the finished product undergoes a treatment to achieve this dry, oil-removed feel. This results in a texture that requires more effort to achieve than typical flannel shirts.
The short-length design retains the charm of old American style while adapting to modern tastes. The arms are slightly tapered, the body is tighter, and the length is a bit shorter. Compared to regular-length flannel shirts, these have wider shoulders, a narrower body, and longer arms. The short-length design is versatile and pairs well with various styles, including rider's jackets, flight jackets, deck jackets, denim jackets, and down vests.
The stitching primarily uses cotton thread, and the product undergoes a strong used-effect treatment. Some spun thread is also used, contributing to the strong used feel. The result is a stylish flannel shirt made from a sturdy fabric. This design allows you to rediscover the comfort, silhouette, and warmth of a flannel shirt.
