The 2020AW collection, with the theme "BLACK OF ORIGIN," looks back at the past 15 years and presents American casual style, which is the brand's origin, on a black base. The collection is created with a focus on reproducing the vintage feel of forgotten, irreplaceable American clothing.

This time, we have tailored THEODORE COAT with specially ordered 50's-style kasuri tweed fabric. It is based on a vintage Brooks Brothers Chesterfield coat. THEODORE COAT is named after a prominent president who wore Brooks Brothers.

The fabric is a wool-cotton blend consisting of 76% wool, 21% cotton, and 3% nylon. It is woven with a bird's-eye pattern, and British wool kemp yarn and slub yarn are blended to create a nep effect, achieving the same vintage feel as the original. Since the slub yarn is cotton-wrapped, the kemp yarns used are also cotton-wrapped to maintain the strength and tension of the yarn, adding to the richness and creating a more vintage-like finish. The fabric is treated with heat to shrink and remove fluff, then finished with a clear tweed to give it a dry, vintage texture.

The lining is made of cupra fabric, which gives it a 50's feel while also being smooth and easy to wear. The buttons are horn buttons. The fit is slimmer than a regular Chesterfield coat, creating a sleek silhouette. With its sturdy fabric and warm lining, this coat is highly recommended for this winter.
