The 2020AW collection is themed around BLACK OF ORIGIN and looks back on the past 15 years while showcasing American casual style, its roots, in a black base.
With the theme of reviving and restoring America's forgotten and irreplaceable clothing, we are committed to recreating the atmosphere of vintage clothing to the greatest extent possible.
We created this product with this in mind.

This time, we have made a THEODORE COAT using a special order Kasuri tweed fabric that is reminiscent of the 50's.
It is based on a vintage Brooks Brothers Chester coat.
This THEDORE COAT is named after a famous president who wore Brooks Brothers.

The fabric is 76% wool, 21% cotton, and 3% nylon.
The fabric is made with a bird's eye weave, called "bird's eye," and a mixture of British wool kemp yarn and slub yarn with neps, giving it the same feel as vintage items of the time. Since the slub yarn is wrapped in cotton, the kemp yarn is also wrapped in cotton to maintain the strength and tension of the yarn, giving it a more solid feel and a more vintage-like finish.
The fabric is heated and shrunk to remove the fuzz, and then given a clear tweed finish without any brushing, giving it a crisp, vintage feel.

The lining is made of cupra fabric, giving it a 50's feel while also being smooth and easy to wear.
The button is a horn button.
In terms of size, it has a slimmer and sleeker silhouette than a regular Chester coat.
With its sturdy fabric and heat-retaining lining, this is a recommended coat for this winter.
