The body has been newly renewed, adopting a 14/- circular knit body made in Wakayama Prefecture, available in 6 sizes.
Factories that knit 46-size circular bodies are rare, making this product unique.
With the cooperation of knitters, we were finally able to revive and offer this size. The No. 14 yarn used is made for woven fabrics, has a strong twist, gives the fabric firmness, and improves durability.
The dyed body colors are garment-dyed after being made, and sewn with cotton thread.
The neck part has a binder specification, making the collar resistant to stretching and providing a comfortable fit even after long wear.
The classic American casual college club print is made with flocking, just like vintage items.
We have reproduced the worn-out and faded print of vintage items.
Regular flocking involves printing a glue plate, then attaching a brushed sheet onto it and heat-pressing to complete the printing process. However, for this product, we have chosen a technique called "faded flocking," which expresses a print that has already aged from the beginning.
First, a semi-rubber print is applied with water-based ink, and then a glue plate is applied over it. Usually, the sheet flocking is placed on the glue plate after it has completely dried, but here, the sheet flocking is intentionally placed when it is semi-dry, at the craftsman's timing, and then heat-pressed.
Since a fixative agent that makes adhesion difficult to the initial semi-rubber print is included, the flocking peels off sparsely, creating the appearance of faded flocking that has been worn for many years.
