JELADO Smoker Shirt Black Pepper [JP94119]

The top is made of 100% cotton twisted mottled chambray fabric.
Chambray fabric is a plain weave fabric made of colored yarn for the warp (vertical threads) and white yarn (or a different colored yarn from the warp) for the weft (horizontal threads). It is a cotton fabric characterized by the unique frosted texture of its surface.
As shown in the image, the weft (horizontal threads) are made of uneven yarn, resulting in a flexible fabric with moderate thickness and firmness.
This fabric is designed to show signs of aging, such as vertical fading and wear marks, with use.

The design is based on the "BIG YANK" gacha-pocket shirt from the 1930s.
The smaller front pocket replicates the unique bag stitching of vintage items, making it a detail that appeals to vintage enthusiasts.
The stitching on the shoulders and arms uses triple stitching for enhanced durability.
The pockets, among other areas, use double stitching, just like back then, to evoke the atmosphere of the period.
The buttons are shiny metal buttons, similar to those used on old work shirts.
The base is brass, so with use, the colored paint will peel off, revealing the plated brass underneath.
The gusset features a selvedge and a run-off chainstitch.
Since the original "BIG YANK" back then had both selvedge gussets and bag-stitched gussets, we chose the selvedge gusset type this time to preserve the authentic feel of the era.
Cotton thread is used for sewing.
With cotton thread, washing and drying will cause the threads to shrink and tighten, resulting in more pronounced fading on the shoulders and arms.
The sizing is designed for a neat fit, with moderately slim arms.
