JELADO Smoker Shirt Cotton & Linen Indigo Check Pattern Fabric [JP11117]

The SMOKER SHIRT, JELADO's best-selling long-sleeved shirt, has been released in a cotton-linen, yarn-dyed indigo check fabric (78% cotton, 22% linen).
Because it uses indigo yarn-dyed threads, the fabric will show changes as the indigo fades over time.

This shirt is based on a 1930s "BIG YANK" shirt with asymmetrical "Gacha-Pocket" chest pockets.
The small pocket on the left chest features vintage-specific details such as bag stitching, making it a detail that truly appeals to vintage enthusiasts.
For construction, triple stitching is used on the shoulders and arms for durability.
Additionally, the pockets and collar feature the same double stitching used at the time, creating parts that evoke a vintage feel.
Hexagonal buttons, typically found on old work shirts, are used.
The gusset features a selvedge and run-off stitching.
Since the original "BIG YANK" shirts of that era had both selvedge and bag-stitched gussets, we chose the selvedge type this time to preserve that authentic vintage feel. White cotton thread is used for the upper thread and orange cotton thread for the lower thread.
When cotton thread is used, washing and drying in a machine will cause the threads to shrink, creating stronger puckering and fading effects on the shoulders and arms.
