This item is based on the short horn type western shirt, which is synonymous with western shirts, and is made from calico printed typewriter fabric. The base fabric is made using organic cotton yarn from Turkey, woven at high density at a weaver's in Senshu, Osaka, and then painstakingly pre-treated in Nishiwaki City, Hyogo Prefecture to give it a fluffy texture. The design is based on vintage old fabric and features an atmospheric overprint. The print is done in Hamamatsu, Shizuoka Prefecture, and then air tumbled to relax the fabric and give it the natural texture of cotton, making it extremely comfortable to wear. The fabric is firm yet thin, making it the perfect material for spring. This is a piece that we recommend pairing with denim for a more classic take on the classic western shirt.
