BLUE LABEL has released the popular SLEEPING SHIRTS.
BLUE LABEL is not bound by the theories of the VINTAGE era or region that are the basis of its designs, but instead adds a modern touch.
It will be a label that reflects the arrangement.
This season, we are based on European workwear and military styles.
Made in Hamamatsu, Shizuoka Prefecture, this fabric is woven on a dobby loom to create a sashiko-like stitch pattern, and then screen printed on nine different patterns.
It is made with specially selected printed fabric that expresses the atmosphere of realistic rags.
A sturdy sashiko-style dobby fabric with 20/- warp threads and 20/- weft threads, 85 x 55 threads, reminiscent of boro fabric from the Meiji and Taisho periods.
After redrawing the original design many times, we were able to create a highly refined design.
The design craftsmen at the dye factory also worked hard, and the product was produced using screen printing rather than transfer printing.
We were able to complete it to a level that doesn't look like a print.
Combined with the atmosphere of the sashiko-style dobby base, I think we have created a fabric with more depth.
We have used this special fabric to create a sleeping shirt that is popular every season.
Rather than trying to create a realistic atmosphere by using worn-out fabrics, we propose a new type of vintage style that makes use of the design.
