Vintage Works Leather Belt Handmade Rough Out 7-Hole Garrison Belt Tan [DH5734]

Vintage Works leather belt.
The leather used is 35mm wide cowhide bends leather (from the back portion of the cow) from North America.
This is a high-quality leather with high fiber density, excellent durability, and a combination of thickness and softness, often used for the soles of high-end leather shoes.
The buckle is an original Vintage Works design, created from a prototype.
It is made of matte brass.
This is a garrison-style leather belt using roughout leather.
The roughout leather, typically used for work boots, has a suede-like texture that gives it an outstanding presence.
To prevent the buckle from shifting, it is hand-stitched as tightly as possible, and the folded and sewn tip is skived at an angle of 0.2mm to 0.3mm, providing an excellent fit.
The belt and buckle are securely sewn with waxed sinew thread.
The belt holes are also the tear-drop type found on vintage belts.
As you use it, you'll enjoy changes in color, the leather softening and conforming to your body, and the overall ease of use will improve, allowing you to appreciate the excellent aging properties of bends leather.

With a 35mm width, this is a versatile belt that can be used not only with regular denim but also with pants that have shorter belt loops.

*For proper belt sizing, if it's a 7-hole type, the 3rd to 4th hole from the tip of the belt is ideal. For a 5-hole type, the 2nd to 3rd hole is ideal.
Please note that the leather may stretch by about 2.5cm depending on wear, so one hole position may shift.
