JELADO Short Pharaoh Black [SG53411]

We've created a JELADO-style Short Pharaoh, synonymous with 1950s HOTROD culture.
This is the first production run of the Short Pharaoh in about 3 years!

We tailored this wool blouson with a shawl collar, which was common in the 1950s, using rare materials that faithfully reproduce the 50s style.
This season, we've designed it with a front zipper for the first time, giving it a more sophisticated blouson feel.

The fabric is a wool-cotton blend, 76% wool, 21% cotton, and 3% nylon.
It features a bird's-eye weave, combined with Kemp yarn from British wool and slub yarn to create a nep texture, replicating the atmosphere of vintage pieces from that era. Since the slub yarn is cotton-wrapped, we also used cotton-wrapped Kemp yarn to maintain the yarn's strength and tension, resulting in a heavier, more vintage-like finish.
By applying heat to the fabric to full it and remove fuzz, while avoiding brushing, we achieved a clear tweed finish that expresses a dry, vintage feel.

The ribs faithfully reproduce rare jacquard ribs from that period.
The zipper is a "WALDES" zipper.
The lining uses Cupra fabric, which provides a 50s atmosphere while being smooth and easy to wear.
This Short Pharaoh is meticulously crafted, reproducing vintage fabric and vintage ribs.
It offers excellent warmth, and the soft lining makes it a comfortable outer layer, so please take a look.
